I have to say that I'm just the opposite. I was diapered for bed wetting until I was 11 years old and the frequency of my wetting has never really changed, only the quantity. I almost always wake up, but my problem is, the time it takes me to stop once I've started. As a teenager and through my early 20's it was mostly just a small squirt. As the squirts turned into short streams and later gushers, my then girlfriend insisted I wear waterproof pants with some kind of a pad. The kind of crap they sold over the counter back then leaked so bad that I may as well not been wearing anything at all. Things got very interesting the night she decided to put a diaper on me. She had fun, the bed stayed dry, and from then on until we went our separate ways several years later, diapers were a nightly routine. I still wear diapers every night and they are almost always wet in the morning but that's because it's a lot more convenient to wake up and pee in the diaper than it is to wake up, run to the bathroom and try and get the diaper off while still half asleep, then put the diaper back on and go back to bed. By that time I'm wide awake and I can't go back to sleep. The first few nights my girlfriend diapered me I would still try to make it to the bathroom, and then complain about not sleeping well. Her advice was "just pee in the damn diaper; that’s what it's for". It was good advise then and it's still good advise. But the diapers don't make me wet more; they just keep my bed dry more. Plus I get a good night sleep.
