I actually had a similar experience. For some reason, I have to get up to pee extremely often at night. Once, in a store, I passed some diapers and decided to see if they would allow me to sleep better.
Needless to say, at first it was difficult to use the diapers, then it became easier. Then, I would barely wake up before I started peeing.
Now, I don't wake up at all and wake up almost every morning in a thoroughly soaked diaper -- which doesn't bother me at all! In fact, it's rather pleasurable.
One thing I recommend is to not use store bran diapers, though. Go to www.drugstore.com and buy some Abena X-Plus diapers. They're much more absorbent. I also use the Abri-Let booster pads. This combintion lets me sleep securely and comfotably every night.
