I travel a lot and always carry disposable diapers and pull up plus plastic panties in my bag. i rarely check my bag. On a few occasions my bag has been selected for a check and most of the time since I keep the diapers in a pocket within the bag, they just feel the pocket wna when they see it is soft they generally don't go any futher. At times for long flights I wear pull-ups and snap on plastic panties. I worry more about the metal snaps on my panties not making it thru the metal detector, but so far they haven't caused any alarms.
I too use to use the shower curtain, but not an comfortable just wearing a depends maximum and plastic panties.
