I guess I got 3 pair of cotton panties because girls panties do not have as much double fabric as boys briefs. Then the rubber pants and another pair of panties, these kept the rubber pants quiet and they couldn't be seen so they caused less distraction to the cousins and pj's were worn over. I think they showed a lot less then having diapers and rubber pants on as there was a lot less bulge.
When this method was used mom cut my drinks after supper way down, but I was still wet in the morning.
Sometimes I would ask mom to let me wear panties and rubber pants to bed instead of diapers for a change and she would let me.
