I was not like diapers and rubber pants either but was always told that I wore them to protect the bedding and to keep me comfortable and get a good nights sleep. The diapers were birdseye, 2 flat diapers folded together to get the right amount of padding and sometimes if I'd had a lot to drink that day a prefold was added for extra padding. I was always well padded as mom didn't want wet beds.
Did your cousin know you were a bedwetter?
