I found DPF about 1998 and to be honest I'm thinking it was passed it best then. It had already been invaded by the crazies.
That said of course it's sad to see it go as I know it had a big history before that and must have re-assured lots of teens+ that they weren#t alone in how they felt.
In a way it's sad that the net has gotten easier to set sites up on. There are far to many sites now for a minority interest. The AB/DL scene has lost it's focus again and I know from reading that DPF was that focus for a great many years.
