I'm sure there is somebody for you crab19, have you tried www.abkingdom.com? It's a french site, with chatrooms and photos, so you've probably got a larger chance of finding someone there.
Just thought I'd mention it incase you hadn't heard of it.
I remember buying my first packet of nappies/diapers too, they came in a big box which I had to carry back home with me. Luckily it was a plain box, but it was about a 2 mile walk! :D
