My b/f just bought me some really great diapers from www.nicediaper.com
I got the ones that have a waterproof outer layer so you don't need horrible plastic pants. Mine are white but we are thinking of getting some more in yellow as they are reasonably priced.

They are very comfortable and they are machine washable.
I think they also sell them on ebay and give discounts if you buy 3 or more.
