the only thing I'm aware of from the 1970s was the free availability of acid. Seems like the decade had some other stuff going for it, too.
Offtopic but not worthy of a new thread: who's JaneCarole? I'm guessing she must be a celebrity or something, but what's she famous for? Wikipedia turns up nothing.
