One day last week, I was leaving my neighborhood subway station heading home when I noticed a middle-aged woman. I've seen her before and waved to her quite a few times. On that Wednesday afternoon, however, it was impossible not to notice what was in the bags she was carrying: two large packs of protective underwear. (They were the "house brand" of a regional drug store chain.) After she waved to me I looked a bit at her to see if there was any sign that she was wearing any - nothing.
Then, last Friday I saw her again; she had one bag of the protective panties. And this past Monday, she appeared with ANOTHER TWO packs! That's at least 100 of the pants (depending on size) in five days, at $20 a pack! But no sign of any on her...well, she does wear somewhat loose shorts.
So of course I'm wondering about this slim, rather attractive lady...
